HobbyKing announced start of their Multirotor Beerlift Competition 2013. Rules changed a bit this year but main idea is the same: lift some amount of beer with your multicopter, shoot this on video which includes measuring multirotor and beer weight and post video to their page. To qualify you must be using Nano-Tech, Nano-Tech A-Spec, Zippy or Turnigy Li-Poly Batteries. Winners will receive great prizes: up to $1000 in HobbyKing store.
Changes in rules for this year includes updates in classification of multirotors and flight time: it is required to lift the payload no less than 10 seconds.
