RC Transmitter Carrying Case
How do you carry your transmitter to flying field? Do you use your everyday backpack?
I usually do use regular backpack, and put a lot of stuff in it to carry to the airfield. And that is actually not good for my transmitter because I cannot be sure I will not break the antenna or accidentally move switches to different positions. The latter will be noticed when you check your transmitter before the flight, but you also do some preparation for your flight at home.
HobbyKing has few new models of bags/cases to carry and protect your transmitter. Here are the options available for you.
1. Plastic case. Outer box is made of hard plastic. And has special straps to fix the transmitter inside the bag and self adhesive foam bricks to adjust to particular Tx shape. Almost any of the HobbyKing selling radio transmitter (Turnigy 9X, Turnigy 9XR, HobbyKing 2.4GHz 6Ch or HobbyKing HK6S 2.4Ghz FHSS 6Ch) can fit easily in the carrying case. 2. Aluminum case. This one is even more stronger and will protect your transmitter very well. But it is also more heavier. The box inside is filled of foam. There are 2 options available from HobbyKing, first one is aluminum case for Turnigy 9XR transmitter.
It has cuts out inside for 9XR, so foam can be easily replaced to match your transmitter shape.
The second one is more generic and bigger alloy box. Check the size specification to determine which is more suitable for you particular transmitter model.
